NASS SERVICE DELIVERY RECEIVES A BOAST OF SEVEN NEW SECRETARIES

The National Assembly (NASS) Service delivery has received a boast with the appointment of seven (7) new Permanent Secretaries.

This is sequel to the issuance of appointment letters to the new appointees by the clerk to the National Assembly Mohammed Ataba Sani-Omolori.

The letter of appointment to the new Secretaries which is signed by the Executive Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), Dr. Adamu Mohammed Fika, OFR, mni, takes effect from 24th August, 2017; following the approval of same at the 463th Meeting of the Commission which held same day.

While congratulating the new appointees, the letter stressed that “the appointment is in recognition of your hard work, dedication and administrative competence”, and enjoyed them to continue to uphold the confidence reposed in them.

The new Secretaries are:

Adamu Abdulkadir                            –     Clerk, House of Representatives

Giwa Patrick Ahonkhai                    –     Deputy Clerk, House of Representatives    (Legislative)

Mohammed Aishatu (Mrs)               –     Deputy Clerk, House of Representatives (Administrative)

Ojo Olatunde Amos                         –     Secretary, Procurement, Estate and Works Directorate

Dibal Ishaku Adamu                         –     Secretary, Research and Information Directorate

Mahmud Alhaji Abubakar                –     Secretary, Human Resources and Staff Development Directorate

Iku Obiageli Patience (Mrs.)          –     Deputy Clerk, Senate (Administrative)
