CAC Applauds FG As Nigeria Jumps 15 Places On World Bank Ease Of Business Ranking

The Acting Registrar-General of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Lady Azuka Azinge, heartily felicitates with the Federal Government and Mr President on the remarkable progress made in the Global Competitiveness Index ranking released today by the World Bank.

Nigeria is now currently ranked 131 on the Ease of Doing Business Index moving up 15 places from its 2019 position.

The Acting Registrar-General stated that the feat is attributeable to the faithful implementation of the Ease of Doing Business reform initiatives by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), under the able leadership of His Excellency, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibanjo, SAN, GCON, supported by Ministers of Industry, Trade & Investment, Finance, Interior and other stakeholders.

According to Lady Azinge, the Commission is proud to be part of this historic achievement and wish to congratulate other sister agencies that have collaborated to make this happen.

She reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to the present administration’s reform agenda designed to take the country to the next level.

She also assured other stakeholders in the Ease of Doing Business matrix and the country at large that the Commission will continue to cooperate and collaborate with other agencies to not only maintain this success recorded ,but to also ensure that Nigeria becomes an Investor’s preferred destination of choice.
