ActionAid Nigeria, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture presents its flagship biennial event tagged “Art for Development” Expo (Art4Dev), an Art and Craft exhibition in Abuja from June 28th to June 30th and an Auction/Gala night on Sunday 1st July 2018.
The Art for Development (Art4Dev) expo seeks to showcase Arts and Crafts from rural communities; established professionals as a viable means for sustainable livelihood leveraging on technology with a focus to empower communities (community based interventions). The event will create linkages to market access for the local crafts/artworks, encourage entrepreneurship, thus assuaging individual and household poverty in rural communities. This event is in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, News Agency of Nigeria, Canadian Embassy, British Council Nigeria, House 33, BBC Media Action, Abuja Chamber of Commerce & Industry, One Environment Corporation and Sustainable Development Goals
